The Valencia Regional Government Choir, directed by Francesc Perales, is celebrating a tour of tribute concerts to Inmaculada Tomás. Today, Tuesday 3 November, the concert will be at the Sapiencia Chapel at La Nau Cultural Centre, at 19:30. Admission is free. These concerts aim to remember and pay tribute to Inmaculada Tomás, who died last June. Director of the Valencian Music Institute from its creation in 1999 and assistant director of CurlturArts Music in the moment of her death. Tomás was with no doubt the alma mater of the Valencian Regional Government Choir and of countless musical initiatives which have placed Valencian music in the prestigious spot where it is today and that would have been impossible without her work, in which she had never give out. The repertoire of the concert is a programme with religious thematic related to the tradition of remembering the dead, which is celebrated at the beginning of November. The programme collects works from Tomás Luis de Victoria, Cristóbal de Morales, Nicolas Gombert, Ginés Pérez, Alonso Lobo, Heinrich Schütz, Salvador Giner, Pau Casals and Francis Poulenc
