Artificial Intelligence to accelerate the triage of patients with COVID-19
In the fight against COVID-19, the worldwide epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, anticipation is key. An international group of researchers and doctors is working on this, in which Verónica Sanz González, ‘distinguished researcher’ of the Beatriz Galindo program at the Corpuscular Physics Institute (IFIC, CSIC-Universitat de València), participates. This team has developed a method that uses Artificial Intelligence techniques to help early detection of pathologies associated with COVID-19 in patient radiographs.
