On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the Normal School of Teachers of Valencia, the book “Teachers of teachers” by Carmen Agulló and Blanca Juan reviews the evolution, over the last century and a half, of teacher training Valencian through the different moments of our history. In addition, it makes a journey through the evolution of Valencian society and the tensions produced between the most innovative and more traditional women models. In short, some pages of the history of Valencian education, hitherto unknown, where women were the undisputed protagonists.
