Universo sostenible Cap.9_T3 Are microplastics so dangerous?

Just take a walk along any beach to see it. Plastic everywhere; in the air, on the ice, the sea. These tiny particles pose a problem of gigantic dimensions. Its size means that it can easily enter the food chain, but most of the studies are in the initial stages and the consequences of ingesting it are not yet known. In Spanish universities, different aspects are investigated that can contribute to solving the problem. We can only change our attitude towards the use of this material and wait for a solution that now does not seem very possible.
