Birds have traditionally been considered inferior in intelligence compared to mammals. Studies of bird behavior allow us to understand one of the great mysteries of evolution: the relationship between intelligence and brain size. Some studies have shown that crows make tools or solve puzzles, and parrots have a very diverse vocabulary. Such abilities have surprised many researchers, who did not expect them in birds due to the small size of their brains and the lack of a cerebral cortex.
